Mathpad

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 5, 2026

1. Overview

Mathpad ("the app") is a calculator notebook. We designed it to work without accounts, tracking, or ads. This policy explains what data the app touches and where it goes.

2. Data stored on your device

Your notes, titles, paper themes, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive, read, or analyze your notes.

3. iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app syncs your notes to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service so they stay up to date across your devices. This data lives in your private iCloud database; we cannot access it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. You can stop syncing by signing out of iCloud or disabling iCloud for the app in system settings.

4. Exchange rates

When a note contains a currency conversion, the app fetches current exchange rates from a third-party rate service. Only a standard network request is made; your note contents, amounts, and personal identifiers are not sent. Rates are cached on the device.

5. Notifications

If you set a reminder on a date result, the app schedules a local notification on your device. Reminders are not sent to any server. Notification permission is requested the first time you use this feature and can be revoked in system settings.

6. Data we do not collect

The app has no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no account system, and no tracking. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or identifiers.

7. Purchases

Mathpad is a paid app sold through the App Store. Payment, refunds, and purchase records are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

8. Children

The app does not target children and collects no personal data from any user.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
