Ink & Verse is operated by an independent developer. This policy explains how the App handles information.
When your device or the App is set to English, Ink & Verse is a reading app. Poems, translations, commentary, poet profiles, and guqin music are built into the App. Reading, searching, and saving poems all happen on your device, and the App does not send your reading activity, searches, or saved poems anywhere.
Saved poems and settings. Your saved poems and display preferences, such as typeface and script, are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we cannot access them.
Purchases. Ink & Verse Pro is purchased through Apple. Apple handles payment, and we never receive your payment details. To confirm and restore your Pro access, the App uses RevenueCat to manage purchases. RevenueCat assigns the App a random, anonymous user ID and stores the purchase records linked to it (items purchased, purchase and expiration dates, and transaction receipts), along with basic technical information such as app version, OS version, and region. This anonymous ID does not include your name, Apple ID, or contact details.
Device information. Apart from the anonymous user ID used for purchases, the App does not collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or other device information, and it does not track you across apps.
When the App is set to Chinese, it also offers offline poem composition. Those features handle information as follows:
None of these features run while the App is set to English.
Your saved poems, settings, and creations stay on your device. We do not operate a user-data server. Purchase records are stored and protected by Apple and RevenueCat under their own privacy policies. Deleting the App permanently deletes its local data.
The App does not include advertising, analytics, or social-media SDKs.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If this policy changes, we will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date.
